I must give credit where it is due - you nailed it here, and I also didn't vote for Smotrich / Ben Gvir (for non-Covid related reasons I won't go into here). I fear however that your last line was mis-informed - do you think that Shas have a different attitude to Ben Gvir and those who go to Har HaBayis? See for example:

Reb DW,

ואנכי לא ידעתי!

I have to admit, you kind of got me there. But I can say this. The two clips you put here are from June and August. It seems it was said at that time in order to stam disenfranchise Ben Gvir from their camp and perhaps to sincerely discourage their people from following the pied piper up the hill, but it was not an eleventh-hour campaign smear.

It's a small difference but it's all I have. I am not a kanai for not going up because I listen to the claims of the proponents and there is merit to them. I am not a kanai for going up either.

I don't know what I would have done if I was aware of these clips. I hope that, even if Moshiach doesn't come, there won't be another election for a good 4 years.

So who did you vote for (if you voted)?

Thanks for commenting.

I will answer you via email as I don't like to write who I vote for in a public forum. See https://torahclarity.blogspot.com/2019/02/who-should-we-vote-for.html & https://torahclarity.blogspot.com/2019/03/who-should-we-vote-for-part-2.html
